Summer Guitar Lesson Program (2012)
- A total of seven 40 minute private lessons will be offered during the weeks of June 11-August 13 (no lessons will be given the week of July 29th). Students may choose which weeks they can attend to fit their summer schedule.
- Lessons will be given on Tuesday and Thursday between 8:30am-2:00pm. (Lessons may also be given on Wednesday mornings pending interest.)
- All lessons will be given by Dr. Jerry Markoch, director of bands at Athens Drive H.S. Lessons will be given at Athens Drive H.S. (Music Department wing).
- The total cost of the lessons is $175 which includes all instructional materials. Please note that the students must supply their own guitar. (Guitars can often be borrowed or rented inexpensively at many local dealers).
- A $50 deposit (made payable to Dr. Jerry Markoch) is required to secure a lesson time in the schedule. It would be preferred that the balance ($125) be paid at the third lesson; however, alternative arrangements can be made.
- Lessons are for beginning students in grades 4-12. No prior music experience is necessary.
- To get started, please contact Dr. Markoch with the preferred day and time of lesson.
