Band Booster Meeting March 1, 2012 Meeting started at 7:40pm Secretary: Minutes from previous meeting approved. Treasurer: Everything on Budget. Payment for Disney going well. Scrip: FREE MONEY! Can get Disney cards for the trip. Winterguard: Betsy and Lindsay reported that guard took 2nd place at Cary, and have Clayton competition this weekend. Winter percussion: Austin reported that they have a competition every Saturday until Disney. Bulls: Games start up in April ADAF: May 12th Mothers Day concert. Spirit Wear: New cinch sacks, Blue Shorts. Blue hats are almost ready. BBQ: April 27th- Everyone needs to presale. Flyers and order forms are on the website. Need someone with large truck to set up signs. Stadium: Letter writing campaign coming up in next couple of weeks. Disney: 134 Students going. Suggs will be taking and posting pictures throughout the week. Arriving back Friday morning at 9. Percussion: Spencer announced that they picked the Yamaha drums from the Blue Coats. They should be in by band camp. Director: Coming up- winterguard & winter percussion competitions. Concerts, Jazz Band, State Festival, Disney. More info on Disney will be coming out soon. 9 students in the UNCG honor band. Cesar was accepted into UNCG while there. Meeting ended at 8:20pm |
