Composite Pictures - Rescheduled

Composite Pictures originally scheduled for this week have been rescheduled for: 

Monday, October 24 – Thursday, October 27


In order to minimize the disruption to the classroom routine, Doc will be sending the kids to be photographed in groups based on their classroom instrument as described below as originally scheduled:

Monday, Oct 24

Percussion, Flutes, Clarinets, Trombones

Tuesday, Oct 25

Tubas, Baritones, Saxophones

Wednesday, Oct 26

Flutes, Horns, Trumpets, Oboes, Bassoons

Thursday, Oct 27

Make-Up Day


We will start from scratch with the volunteer sign up.  If you can help during the day, please sign up!  It takes two helpers per two hour shift to make the picture process run as smoothly as possible.  It’s a great way to get to know the students and to see the each looking their best!

Composite Picture Volunteer Sign-Ups

Composite Picture Information:

Tricia Bristow of Just…Smile Photography and Design will be on campus next week taking photos of our 2016 - 2017 Marching Band students. These photographs will be used to create the Composite Photograph of this year's Marching Band. 

Tricia can also take additional casual or formal shots of your student in uniform or other outfits.  If you are interested in this opportunity, please come prepared with the appropriate attire and make sure your student knows the additional shots that are desired.

If your child is not in class band (color guard only or marching band only), they should plan to attend a picture session during lunchtime on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.  

Important:  Students should bring their uniform to school THIS WEEK to ensure that it is available for composite pictures. Please remember to wear calf length black socks and cleaned shoes.

As soon as the photos are available for viewing online, we will send a link and a password for the gallery. Tricia plans to be on campus before the start of our Booster Meeting on Thursday, November 10th, starting at 6:00 p.m. to assist families with the ordering process. If         you have any questions, please let us know at president@athensdriveband.com
