Thank you to everyone who has signed up to work our fundraisers. Fundraisers help boost our general fund, put money in individual band accounts and help keep our fair share costs down. We greatly appreciate the time and commitment everyone puts into helping our bands be successful! Unfortunately, we have started to encounter problems with no shows for vital volunteer events. These are events where our band has made a commitment to provide a service as well as a specific number of volunteers to deliver that service. As a result, we'd like to remind every one of our fundraiser Cancellation Policy. The Cancellation Policy states: If you cancel within 2 days of your shift and do not find a replacement, your account will be charged the amount that you would have made had you worked that shift. Please understand, when people do not show up for their shift, it affects both the other workers and anyone who wanted to work, but could not find a slot. Please note that this policy has been in place for a while. The policy is in effect for all vital volunteer venues which include but is not limited to Belk Boxes, Durham Bulls, NCSU Lemonade Stand, PNC Center and State Fair Parking.
Again, THANK YOU for everything you do for our band programs! Because of everyone's efforts, we have an award-winning band program!
